CNH Housing Counselors provide one-on-one counseling including pre-purchase education, credit repair, building credit, reviewing good faith estimates (GFE), budgeting for mortgage or rent payments, money management, referrals to community or homeless services, advocating with lenders for non-traditional lending standards, understanding fair housing issues, Energy Star products and appliances, and how to identify and avoid predatory lending practices. This counseling compliments the Homebuyer Education.
