4th Annual Newaygo County Foreclosure Prevention Task Force - Great Success!

CNH held the 4th annual Newaygo County Foreclosure Prevention Task Force meeting at the Fremont Area Community Foundation on December 9, 2011.

The purpose of the Task Force is to bring together all agencies in Newaygo County to increase awareness of programs available to assist homeowners facing financial difficulty.

Newaygo County residents are extremely fortunate to have a variety of agencies that work so well together for the betterment of the residents of Newaygo County.

Guest speakers included Holly Moon, Newaygo County Treasurer; Karen Tjapkes, Attorney at Law, Legal Aid West Michigan; and Myrna VanBelzen, Civil Process Server.

The Foreclosure Prevention program and services offered by CNH are funded in part by a grant provided by the Fremont Area Community Foundation. 

What's New

 Michigan One of the Five Hardest Hit by Foreclosure!

 The U.S. Department of Treasury approved the Michigan State Housing Development Authority’s (MSHDA) plan to distribute $154.5 million in federal funds that should help more than 17,000 Michigan households avoid foreclosure. 

Contact your servicer (who you make your mortgage payments to) and ask if they are participating in Michigan's Hardest Hit Program.
